What this is

An invitation-only beta of two tools, a charting app and a paper-trading sandbox: run so a small group can try them and report what is wrong. It is not a finished product and it is not a service you are buying.

Access

Your invitation is for you. Please do not share credentials or the address with anyone outside the group; the whole point of a closed beta is knowing who the users are.

Provided as-is

There is no warranty, no uptime commitment and no support obligation. Features may change, break, or disappear without notice, that is expected during a beta, and telling us when it happens is the reason you are here.

Data deletion

All accounts, portfolios, strategies and run history are permanently deleted at the end of the beta period. This is deliberate, it is announced in advance, and it is not reversible. Use the export feature to keep anything you care about before then.

Market data and your keys

The sandbox streams live prices from a market-data account you hold. You connect a free key from a provider such as Alpaca, Twelve Data or Finnhub on your account page; that key is your agreement with that provider, and you are responsible for using it within the provider's terms. SonarQuant acts as your client: it opens one connection in your name, subscribed only to the symbols your runs trade, and delivers that data only to your runs. We never pool your data with other users', never show it to anyone else, and never use your key for anything but your runs. The key is stored encrypted, is never displayed back to you, is held in memory only while a feed of yours is open, and is removed the moment you disconnect it or your account is deleted. The charts, price board, portfolio, and the sandbox page's market board use public reference sources during the beta, as described in the disclaimer; connecting a key does not change them.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to attack, overload, or break out of the system: if you find a way to, please tell us instead.
• Do not upload or enter anything unlawful.
• Do not enter real brokerage credentials. If a feature asks for an API key, use a paper-trading key.

Intellectual property

The software, its design, and the underlying logic are ours. Your invitation grants you permission to use the tools during the beta, nothing more. In particular, and to the extent permitted by law, you agree not to:

• copy, republish, or redistribute the site, its code, or its content;
• reverse-engineer, decompile, or reconstruct the software beyond what is served to your browser to run it, or use it to build or train a competing product or service;
• scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract the site or the data it displays, whether by automated means or otherwise;
• remove, obscure, or alter any notice of ownership.

The code runs in your browser, and is therefore visible to you, as a technical necessity: that visibility is not a grant of any license to reuse it.
